Choosing the perfect vacation read, part III

A decision has been reached. I shall take Rosamunde Pilcher and her collection of short stories with me on vacation. A friend said "You won´t like it." and I suspect she could be right. At least I will have no problems giving it away.

But who knows? I might surprise myself.

  1. If you don't like it you can always go to a hotel with a book exchange. Although the kind of hotels, backpackers, that have those usually feature more Grisham / Marian Keyes type of readers... Maybe not your thing. But sometimes you are lucky, I picked up Pascal Mercier's Midnight Train to Lisbon on a small island in Fiji and loved it.
Have a great trip, looking forward to hearing all about it!

  2. Yes, that´s exactly what I´m counting on! You never know what you might find on those shelves. If I´m unlucky, they have some fabulous bookshops in Oxford and Cambridge, I´m told. Problem is, if I go in there, I´ll probably have to buy another bag to go home...
