No other pen writes as black on white paper as it does, something I appreciate more as I´m getting old and dim-sighted. And no other pen is so easy on the hand.

The husband is a pencil writer. He picks them up everywhere, those plastic advertising pens, and they are all over the house. Thousands, I´m sure.

Some people seem not to keep any writing material at home. I once saw a neighbour put up a note on his door, written on a torn old envelope, and fastened with two Band-Aids! Having a calendar that depends on battery life would make me nervous. Working texts in the computer or on a reading tablet only is something I have gotten used to, though. But almost every writing person I know still uses lots of paper. And I have never been able to transfer my diary to the computer - there is some connection between thinking and having a pen in my hand that just goes together, like coffee and milk. My mind often works better that way. We bought a printer this week so now I can work properly on my German and actually make notes when I read something.
/AngelaUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11542359177001178602noreply@blogger.com
